This kit has been specifically designed to confirm the presence of MDMA (Ecstasy, M, E, Molly) and rule out the presence of dangerous adulterants and cuts, such as Meth, Amphetamine, Cathinones, MDA, and PMA/PMMA.

This kit contains 5 reagents:

  • Marquis Reagent is the first step in our MDMA test kit. It is especially effective at reacting with amphetamines, including MDMA, amphetamine, and methamphetamine.

  • Mandelin Reagent is used to further confirm MDMA, and rule out adulterants such as PMA, PMMA, Meth, and Ketamine. Note: Mandelin reagent is yellow before reacting.

  • Mecke Reagent while originally designed to test opiates, recently it has become useful in testing for cuts such as Eutylone, Cathinones, and confirming MDMA presence.

  • Simons Reagent is a binary test (2 parts A+B) and reacts to secondary amines. This means it will distinguish MDMA vs MDA, as well as Meth vs Amphetamine.

  • Robodope Reagent is another binary test (2 parts A+B) that reacts only to primary amines. This is used in the MDMA kit to determine if a cut such as MDA or Amphetamine is present.

How to Test:

Testing is preformed in 3 easy steps:

  1. Crush up a small amount of the substance you wish to test (around 5mg - the same as 5 grains of sand)
  2. Add 1 drop of reagent to the powdered substance
  3. Obverse the colour change over a 60 second period and compare to chart to match substance.

Safety: Our chemical test kits contain strong acid; please wear appropriate PPE (gloves and glasses) when handling.

Storage: For best results, store in the fridge; our reagent testing kits are designed to last at least 12 months. It’s best practice to test a known substance (aspirin, sugar) to confirm the reagent has not degraded after a period of storage.

Disclaimers: This pill testing kit is a presumptive test, designed to identify the presence or absence of a substance. If you observe a colour change that is unexpected, do not consume the substance. Remember, there is no safe level of substance use. Seek emergency medical advice if you have an unexpected reaction to a substance.
